Inter’s punitive training session on Easter Sunday lasted just 50 minutes amid reports of locker room tension.

This was meant to be a day off for the squad, but a furious Roberto Mancini called everyone in to the Pinetina camp by 7.45 am.

The punishment was announced after a disappointing 1-1 home draw against bottom of the table Parma, which practically demolished any remaining hopes of qualifying for Europe.

The punishment was announced after a disappointing 1-1 home draw against bottom of the table Parma, which practically demolished any remaining hopes of qualifying for Europe.

It’s reported the players had a run-out for just 50 minutes and much of the get-together was spent on a team talk in the locker room.

There were also newspaper stories this morning suggesting a row between Mancini and some of his players.

The Coach is said to have criticised Xherdan Shaqiri and Marcelo Brozovic more than the others at half-time, then complained to Davide Santon that he was off the field for treatment when Parma scored the equaliser.

Santon later required two stitches for that cut to the head.
