Fiorentina winger Joaquin believes Napoli are their most dangerous rival on all fronts, and challenges them for the Europa League Final.

La Viola may not have been a force capable of winning the Scudetto this year, but they are still competing for both domestic and international cups, which Joaquin identifies as his personal target.

“In my career I've won the Copa del Rey twice, so I'd like to make it a third Cup with the Coppa Italia,” the Spaniard has told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“But we can't slow down in the championship. We can still climb on the podium of the top three. Napoli are the most dangerous rival.

“We are fighting them on all fronts. I'd like to meet them in Warsaw too, in the Europa League Final.”

The 33-year-old also discussed his teammates Mohamed Salah and Giuseppe Rossi.

“The Egyptian is a small phenomenon. He's a track sprinter with an instinct for the goal. He reminds me of Ricardo Oliveira when he was purchased by Milan. Salah is a force of nature.

“As for Pepito [Rossi], he's decisive even when he's at 50 per cent. Let's hope he can return with us in the final part of the season.”

In addition, the midfielder spent a word about their upcoming game against Sampdoria.

“[Samuel] Eto'o, [Luis] Muriel and Eder make for a lethal attacking combination.

“Sampdoria like to attack and if they find the right five minutes then they can hurt us. But we need three points on Saturday.”

Joaquin was given substantial time on the bench at the beginning of the season, but he believes his tactical evolution under Coach Vincenzo Montella helped him back on the pitch.

“To get a starter's shirt again I had to turn into a winger, like Eto'o when he played for [José] Mourinho [at Inter].

“I've never covered so many miles. But the Coach was clear that I could only play under these conditions.”
