The Aquile have won five on the bounce to close within a point of arch-rivals Roma, leaving Napoli three points behind them.

“We are happy that the fans have come back to the stadium, as it means we are doing well. I am not interested in the table right now, but at the end of the season. We won’t be satisfied until we have reached our targets.

“We haven’t achieved anything yet. What are our targets? We are ambitious and will take it one game at a time, just as we have done throughout the campaign.

Today Felipe Anderson signed a contract extension until 2020, committing his future to Lazio.

“I am very happy for him. The club is following a consistent plan for the future. We worked together with Felipe Anderson to help him improve, but I think he’s still growing and is only just starting to realise what he can do.”
