Andrea Della Valle assured Fiorentina “are not afraid of anyone” in the Europa League quarter-final draw.

The patron spoke to Radio Blu after a 3-0 victory over Roma at the Olimpico, sealing qualification 4-1 on aggregate.

“This month we’ve made history quite a few times. It was a fantastic night and great to salute our fans who made themselves heard from start to finish and made sacrifices to follow us.

“The game immediately got on the right foot for us. It’s just a shame for Mohamed Salah, as he hit the woodwork twice and could’ve made it an even bigger result.

“I think this was our third best game, but we have so many players still out injured or not fully fit.

“The squad is fantastic, they are very concentrated and understand there is a great objective to be achieved.

“Now we’ve got to keep our feet on the ground and focus on the next match against Udinese.”

Fiorentina and Napoli go through to the Europa League quarter-finals and the draw is on Friday.

“We are not afraid of anyone, although obviously we hope not to get another Italian team in the draw.”
