Sinisa Mihajlovic revealed he’s now on the same page as Samuel Eto’o after his first Sampdoria goal. “We both have strong personalities.”

The Coach clashed with his star signing within days of the Cameroon talent’s arrival from Everton, but they hugged after today’s 2-0 victory over Cagliari.

“He had a bit of a difficult start and we needed time to understand each other, because we both have strong personalities,” Mihajlovic told Sky Sport Italia.

“Eto’o did well and allowed us to finish off the game. We played very well against an organised team and it was important to break that deadlock to open the spaces up.

“Eto’o is getting back in shape and can give us a big hand. He was a great champion and can still make the difference for us.

“I chose this trident attack because the strikers speak the same football language. Okaka and Bergessio are first choices too, but I’ll pick and choose between them depending on the situation.”
