Vasilis Torosidis’ suspension after a red card in Roma’s clash with Juventus has been confirmed by the Lega Serie A.
The Greek defender was given a second booking for a foul on Arturo Vidal in last night’s match, with Carlos Tevez opening the scoring from the resultant free-kick.
Torosidis will serve a one match suspension, meaning he will miss Sunday’s trip to Chievo. Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa will also not be making the trip to Verona, after picking up a fourth yellow card.
