The patron took over last month and continues to promise the necessary funds to save the club from bankruptcy will arrive next week.

However, nobody has been paid since July 2014 and their last two games have been called off, while everything from locker room furniture to vehicles have been seized by bailiffs.

“There are three options: present a recovery plan, take the books to the bankruptcy tribunal or sell,” Manenti told Rai Sport.

“If someone were to come forward and present an offer, I would be open to selling the club.”

The Mayor of Parma, fans and players have urged Manenti to hand the books over and spark controlled administration.

It is hoped this would allow Parma to finish out the season in Serie A and then resume from Serie B under new owners next term.

Failing that, a bankruptcy tribunal is already set for March 19 and the club could be dissolved on that date.
