Sassuolo players Lorenzo Ariaduo and Leonardo Pavoletti are close to joining Genoa, after taking medicals today.

Pavoletti is a striker, and hasn’t made a single start for the Neroverdi in Serie A this season, but has managed one goal in his nine appearances from the bench.

Ariaudo meanwhile, is a Juventus youth product, and made three appearances for the Bianconeri in 2008-09, before joining Cagliari in 2010, and moving to Sassuolo this summer.

Ariaudo meanwhile, is a Juventus youth product, and made three appearances for the Bianconeri in 2008-09, before joining Cagliari in 2010, and moving to Sassuolo this summer.

The 25-year-old has made two appearances in the League this season, completing the 90 minutes on both occasions.

Gianluca Di Marzio’s website reveals that both are currently undertaking medicals at Genoa, with Pavoletti to join on loan until the end of the season, with the option to make the move permanent in the summer.

Ariaudo appears to be set to join on a permanent deal.
