The forward has been heavily linked with the Rossoneri, with reports this morning claiming that today would be decisive for any deal to take place.

Now Sky is reporting that the two clubs have reached a deal which will see Destro move to Milan on a six-month loan before being bought outright in the summer.

Corriere dello Sport believes that means Roma have secured the signing of Luiz Adriano from Shakhtar Donetsk, though the club have yet to confirm that.

No figures have yet been given for the Destro deal, but Sky suggests that €700,000 will be paid for the loan, with a further €16.5m to follow in the summer.

That would amount to slightly more than the €17m rumoured total fee, but the loan price represents a significant drop from the mooted €2m.
