Sampdoria are reportedly interested in bringing Juventus midfielder Luca Marrone to Marassi.

The 24-year-old hasn’t seen a single minute of first team football for the Bianconeri this season as he struggles with a muscular injury and to oust one of Juve’s established midfielders.

Marrone has made just 10 starts for the Old Lady in the past three years across all competitions, and spent last season at Sassuolo in a co-ownership arrangement.

The Serie A champions bought the Neroverdi’s share in the player this summer for €500,000 plus Federico Peluso, but Sport Mediaset reports that Juve may be preparing to let him move on.

The news outlet believes that Sampdoria are willing to take the player on loan for the rest of the season, before making the move permanent for €5m in the summer.
