“S.S. Lazio communicates that they have reached an agreement for the temporary transfer of the footballer Mauricio Dos Santos Nascimento, from the Sporting Clube de Portugal,” reads a club statement.
The Aquile confirm that the player will undergo medical tests tomorrow, before being presented to the media.
It is understood that Lazio’s deal includes a purchase option set at €2.65m, whilst there will also be a sell-on clause included, giving Sporting rights to 20 per cent of any fee received in the future.
