Cesena have confirmed through their website that they have parted ways with veteran striker Hugo Almeida.
The striker only joined the Bianconero club in October 2014, but had failed to score in any of the 10 games in which he played.
The club released a statement today to confirm that the parties have now gone their separate ways.
“A.C. Cesena communicates that this afternoon the contract between the Bianconero club and the Portuguese striker Hugo Almeida was rescinded consensually.”
