Lazio confirmed AZ Alkmaar defender Wesley Hoedt “will join us either in January or in July.”
He’ll be out of contract at the end of the season and is desperate to negotiate an early exit.
“The only certainty I can tell you on the transfer market is that Hoedt will join us. If it’s not now, then it will be in July,” Lazio director of sport Igli Tare told Sky Sport Italia.
Hoedt also confirmed that was the situation currently playing out at AZ.

It’s believed the Biancocelesti have offered €1.26m to have the Dutch centre-back straight away.
