Inter-owned goalkeeper Francesco Bardi could leave Chievo in January for a move abroad, possibly to Liverpool.

The Italy Under-21 international has lost his place in the starting XI to Albano Bizzarri since Coach Rolando Maran took over from Eugenio Corini.

Inter only loaned him out to gain first team experience, so La Gazzetta dello Sport claim he’ll be recalled in January to then go elsewhere.

An intriguing option would be Liverpool, who are currently dealing with an increasingly farcical situation in goal.

Brendan Rodgers cannot seem to decide between Brad Jones and Simon Mignolet, while Liverpool have been consistently linked with an offer for Genoa shot-stopper Mattia Perin.

Funnily enough, Bardi had kept Perin out of the Italy Under-21 team, but in the past year the Genoa man has shot straight past his old rival to become the senior Azzurri’s regular third choice.
