“I have not refused anyone, nor have I signed for anyone. I am an Atletico Madrid player and I’m evaluating, along with the club, the best solution for both parties.
“I think that is only right and only normal. Alessio.”
Today’s papers in Italy and Spain suggested Atletico Madrid threatened to leave Cerci in the stands for the next six months if he didn’t accept the Milan move.
They also wondered whether to report Inter to FIFA for an illegal approach.
