It kicks off tomorrow at 17.30 GMT in Doha, Qatar.

“This is our last game of the year and our third target for the campaign after Champions League qualification and top of the Serie A table,” said the Coach in a Press conference.

“It will not be easy, as Napoli have a lot of quality and in a one-off game are extremely strong. Their three trequartisti can really hurt opponents and even without errors it’ll be tough to beat them. I haven’t beaten Napoli for a while as a Coach, so I’d like to rectify that tomorrow.

“We are highly motivated too, as this is after all a final for a trophy. We can’t get it wrong! The team is in decent shape and we’ll try to end on a high before the Christmas vacation.”

Benitez is known above all for his record in cup competitions, so that could give Napoli the edge.

“It is motivating to face him. I haven’t had as many opportunities as Rafa to play in cup finals. It’ll be a bit of a strange game for me and the squad.”
