Lazio will be without Lucas Biglia until January after he was diagnosed with a thigh strain.

The Argentina international missed Saturday’s 3-0 victory over Atalanta due to a muscular problem, but the medical tests only showed the extent of the damage today.

It is a first degree strain in the left thigh and will keep Biglia out of action for at least a couple of weeks.

There are reports he won’t be risked for the big match with Sampdoria on January 5.
