Ashley Cole will reportedly leave Roma in January to join MLS club Orlando City.

The full-back arrived as a free agent over the summer when his contract with Chelsea expired, but has struggled to make an impact.

He was torn apart by Arjen Robben in the 7-1 defeat to Bayern Munich and been dropped recently in favour of Jose Holebas, not even finding room on the bench against Manchester City.

According to calcionews24.com, the former England international is considering an early exit from Serie A.

He turns 34 next week and could well reconsider his previous decision to snub Major League Soccer for a more competitive tournament.

It’s reported Orlando City are still interested in signing Cole, having already snapped up ex-Milan forward Ricky Kaka.
