Sampdoria Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has dropped an assault charge against a fan who punched him in September.
The Serbian was involved in an altercation with a man as he made his way to the Samp team bus.
After the man hurled abuse at the Blucerchiati Coach, Mihajlovic walked over and asked if the person was talking to him.
The man then punched Mihajlovic in the face, breaking his sunglasses.

In a statement Sampdoria confirmed the dropping of the charge, as the assailant had offered an apology for his part in the brawl.
“After accepting an apology to Sinisa Mihajlovic and the club there has been a reciprocal dropping of charges, formalised at the police station at Genova Nervi.” the statement confirmed.
