The Orobici were 2-0 down at the Stadio Azzurri d’Italia, but three goals in seven minutes either side of the half-time break allowed them to turn it all around.

“This was an important victory,” Colantuono told Sky Sport Italia, ending a two-month drought of victories.

“I know our fans and at the first moment of difficulty it is unfair to jeer a team that has given them so much in recent years.

“This disappoints me. I am always honest and do not hold back, so I say this to their faces: we are fighting for survival, we need our fans and I expected more from them today.”
