The Rosanero were leading twice in Turin, but both times saw themselves pegged back for a stalemate.

“We started strong, pressed them high and remained attacking,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.

“As time went on, Torino got stronger and we tended to lose possession too quickly, meaning we could not put together the same moves we had in the first half and were always under pressure. That’s something we did better in other games.

“These are young players who need to mature in every respect, so we are working on their natural growth. It was not easy against a Torino side who considered this a very important fixture, so I have to compliment my team’s mentality.”

It nonetheless maintained their six-match unbeaten run and saw Dybala score a sensational goal, complete with back-heel flick.

“I’d love to keep him, as he can still improve and it’s our job to help our young players grow,” continued Iachini.

“He’s like a mix between Pepito Rossi and Vincenzo Montella, those quality left-footed strikers who can play for the team and take men on. He has made this role his own and gets better the closer he is to the goal.

“I focus on my work, which is to organise the team, give them the right mentality and play an always attacking style of football. I try to design the right ‘outfit’ to suit these players and am proud of the work I’ve done over my career.”
