The forward has attracted increasing speculation over his future with Samp, for his strong form this term and reports that he has stalled on contract extension talks.

Today the Gazzetta dello Sport reiterate that the player’s intention at the moment is not to renew his current deal, which expires in June 2016, amid increased interest from both Inter and Milan.

Inter sporting director Massimo Mirabelli was present as an observer at the Marassi on Monday night, to watch the ex-Roma youth's performance against Napoli.

Okaka is allegedly being considered as a replacement if the Nerazzurri had to part ways with striker Mauro Icardi.

But Milan are facing a similar scenario, as they face the prospect of losing Giampaolo Pazzini, who might return to Sampdoria.

The veteran could then factor into an exchange between the two strikers that could take place as early as January.

Okaka is currently valued at €15m, with Bayer Leverkusen, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Aston Villa and Everton also reportedly interested in the player.
