Chievo boss Rolando Maran assured his team “did our duty” by earning an impressive draw against Lazio.

The Flying Donkeys had lost the last seven consecutive editions of this fixture at the Bentegodi, but played out a 0-0 result this evening.

“It was a good performance and we have to improve in our possession, but let’s not forget we were facing a great team,” Maran told Sport Mediaset.

“It was a good performance and we have to improve in our possession, but let’s not forget we were facing a great team,” Maran told Sport Mediaset.

“Chievo did our duty and we were able to achieve a half-miracle by not conceding in the first half. We stepped up a gear in the second, when we had a couple of chances to hurt them.

“The draw is the right result and my lads deserved this point. We are unbeaten in four now and emerging from a negative period for the team.

“I brought my ideas, we worked on physical fitness levels and in fact were able to run to the 90th minute. I am satisfied.”
