The Turin publication report that La Beneamata will look to extend Handanovic’s contract by two years, to take him to June 2018.

It is also believed that the club will look to increase his current salary from its €2m annual rate up to between €2.5m and €3m.

The latter rate would see the penalty expert move up to just below the same level as current squad high earners Nemanja Vidic, Rodrigo Palacio and Hernanes.
