Ex-Algeria and Trabzonspor Coach Vahid Halilhodzic confessed he “regrets declining” an offer from Milan.

The tactician impressed at the World Cup and opted for Turkish side Trabzonspor, but was fired this morning.

“Taking the Trabzonspor job was a mistake,” he told Bosnian paper Dnevni Avaz.

“After the World Cup I had contact with Milan, a legendary club that is among the top European sides, but I turned them down because I had already given my word to Trabzonspor.
