Barcelona forward Luis Suarez has revealed that he was very close to a move to Juventus in the summer of 2012.
Writing in his upcoming autobiography ‘Crossing The Line: My Story’, the Uruguayan has disclosed that the Bianconeri had almost lured him to Serie A two years ago.
“In that circumstance, I didn’t speak a lot with Brendan Rodgers but I told him that there was a chance for me to join Juventus,” extracts published by The Guardian report.

“In that circumstance, I didn’t speak a lot with Brendan Rodgers but I told him that there was a chance for me to join Juventus,” extracts published by The Guardian report.
“Rodgers said we would bring the ball out on the floor, keep possession and play attacking football. I remember him saying, ‘It’s not so hard to bring the ball out from the back on the floor, you know’.
“From the start, it convinced me. It made sense. And although the results weren’t good, I could see that we were playing better.”
