Walter Mazzarri hopes Inter can bring out their best in “an emergency situation” against Sampdoria tomorrow.

“Samp are in good shape and the statistics speak for them. However, with the help of the great atmosphere we had in the stadium against Napoli, we must try to repeat that performance too,” the Coach told Inter Channel.

“We started off with the right foot against Cesena, pinning our opponents back for the first half-hour. I am happy with the performance. We need the same attitude tomorrow night too.”

Fredy Guarin is on the injury list along with Daniel Osvaldo, Danilo D’Ambrosio, Yann M’Vila, Yuto Nagatomo and Jonathan.

“We are in an emergency situation, which you can see just by the squad list. I tried to let the players understand that if we do things right, then any member of the squad can play.

“Tomorrow I want whoever steps on to the field to be aggressive, show soul and always be ready to sacrifice themselves for the result.

“When there are difficult moments we need to go forward together. The atmosphere against Napoli gave us the push to go forward, even if we weren’t very lucky in that game,” Mazzarri said of the 2-2 draw.

“I hope that, after the win over Cesena, things can start going our way.”
