Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is expected to sign a new contract with the club in the coming days, according to reports.

The France international has been linked in recent months with Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid as well as Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United in the English Premier League.

However, the 21-year-old and his agent have been in continued negotiations with the Bianconeri since the summer over a new contract, and reports today are that the parties are close to an agreement being penned.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, the Old Lady has agreed a deal with the midfielder and his agent Mino Raoila until 2019, representing a three-year extension to his current contract.

Meanwhile, expectation is that Pogba’s current net salary of €1.5m will be raised to between €3.5m and €4m.

Reports suggest that only formalising the terms with signatures is required and that an announcement on the new contract could be made as soon as today, and almost certainly will be made this week.
