“I am sharper than last year. The credit for the defence goes to the entire team, as the first ones to defend are the forwards.
“I don’t think a place in the Nazionale is gifted to anyone, so only those who deserve it are called up. A few of my good performances helped make the decision easier for the Coach.”
Ogbonna was also asked about Roma goalkeeper De Sanctis, who launched some heavy accusations at Juventus in today’s Gazzetta dello Sport interview.
