The former Chelsea, Inter, Juventus and Monaco Coach was appointed by the Greek FA after the World Cup in Brazil.

However, he broke a new record this week by suffering two consecutive defeats, something Greece had not experienced since 2001.

According to Sport24.gr, Ranieri’s position is now at risk after home defeats against Romania (1-0) and Northern Ireland (2-0) as well as a 1-1 draw in Finland.

The Greek media was furious and some even resorted to headlines with swearing in Italian to convey their message.
