Juan Guillermo Cuadrado is the latest addition to the injury list, joining Giuseppe Rossi, Mario Gomez and Joaquin.

“We need to analyse them on a case by case basis,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

“It’s true we are top of the table in terms of traumatic injuries. Cuadrado has a meniscus problem and I hope he’ll be back quickly. These are all relatively short-term problems, so I think the judgment has been too harsh.

“If we analyse the games from last year against the same opponents, you can see we did better. There’s no need to be worried or alarmed.”

The curious element is that Fiorentina have scored only one goal in four Serie A games.

“Perhaps you expect something different from us. We were constructed to play good football, but in our home games we lacked that final ball or free kick. It is just an issue of that moment of magic. The same goes for Borja Valero, as he’s just going through a phase at the moment.

“We certainly need to be quicker and more decisive, but we have to maintain our idea of football as well. I feel supported by the fans and that is important. This is a stable club.

“Torino have a clear idea of football. They can hurt us on the counter, but I believe that I have a competitive team for tomorrow.”
