Cesena have struck a deal with a local business to change the name of their stadium to the Stadio Manuzzi-Orogel.

The agreement lasts for 10 years and has already brought €1.2m into the club coffers.

“Orogel have been close to Cesena since the mid-1980s, for six years as shirt sponsors and then in numerous other ways,” explained Orogel general manager Bruno Piraccini.

As of this weekend, the Stadio Dino Manuzzi becomes the Stadio Dino Manuzzi-Orogel Stadium.

Cesena also unveiled a statue of a seahorse – the club symbol – in a rotunda named after former President Edmeo Lugaresi, who died four years ago this week.
