Italy Under-21 Coach Gigi Di Biagio feels Roma can succeed in Italy and Europe. “This team has no defects.”

The Giallorossi have won all four competitive matches so far between Serie A and the Champions League, conceding only one goal.

“Roma have an impressive squad, also in terms of numbers and strength in depth,” ex-Giallorossi midfielder Di Biagio told Rete Sport.

“We need to see what happens when they play every three days. Rudi Garcia did great work considering what the situation was when he arrived.

“This Roma team has no defects and does not give opponents any reference points.”

They are in a Champions League group with Bayern Munich, Manchester City and CSKA Moscow.

“It is a difficult group, but they can do it. It’s certainly motivating to be in such a tricky situation when returning to the Champions League after so many years.”
