Italy goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu has officially extended his Paris Saint-Germain contract until 2018.

The former Palermo shot-stopper put pen to paper on the new three-year deal today.

His previous contract had been set to expire at the end of this season.

Sirigu is second choice for the Nazionale behind Gianluigi Buffon.

The 27-year-old was bought by PSG in July 2011 for just €3.9m.
