Fredy Guarin’s agent explains why he won’t join Valencia, while Inter loan Saphir Taider to Sassuolo and Daniel Bessa to Bologna.
The Colombian midfielder had been in negotiations with Valencia, but the move collapsed this evening.
“There are no more conversations between the parties,” confirmed agent Marcelo Ferreyra on Plaza Deportiva.
“Valencia are not prepared to accept a mandatory buy-out clause and this caused the negotiations to collapse.”
Inter have completed two other moves, though, as Taider has officially joined Sassuolo on a paid one-season loan.
He had returned to base from Southampton, who interrupted his season-long loan spell after just three weeks due to his lack of commitment.
Brazilian midfielder Bessa has joined Bologna on loan with an option to buy, but Inter also have a counter-option for the 21-year-old.
