In an extraordinary twist, Jonathan Biabiany won’t join Milan because Cristian Zaccardo didn’t agree Parma terms.

The official Rossoneri Twitter account and website had shown pictures of Biabiany wearing the club jersey and a scarf this afternoon.

However, in a sudden turnaround, this evening Milan announced “the exchange between Biabiany and Zaccardo has collapsed because Zaccardo did not accept the new destination.”

The move had been in place for €4m plus up to €1m in add-ons and Zaccardo going to Parma.

Milan’s statement suggests negotiations are over, but they could try to discuss Biabiany with a larger cash sum before the deadline.

The Rossoneri have fresh funds, as they are preparing to sell Bryan Cristante to Benfica for €6m.
