Dani Osvaldo is a doubt for Italy’s friendly with the Netherlands and Euro 2016 qualifier with Norway, struggling with an injury.
The striker sat out the morning training session with the Azzurri squad under new Coach Antonio Conte, with the CT later explaining the Inter man’s absence.
“Daniel has a problem with his adductor,” Conte has told reporters at today’s Press conference.
“The player remains at rest, we will see how he is tomorrow morning.
“Then we will evaluate his condition and see if he becomes available or if he returns home and we bring in a replacement.”
Conte confirmed that any replacement player brought in would be a striker.
