Cagliari’s search for an experienced goalkeeper has reportedly now led them to former Milan man Marco Amelia.
The 32-year-old is a free agent this summer following his release from the Rossoneri after four years and has been named by La Nuova Sardegna as Cagliari’s latest objective.
The Sardinians are seen as in the market for an experienced ‘keeper to assist Simone Colombi and Alessio Cragno, and recently saw a move for former Arsenal man Manuel Almunia break down.
Recently, the club have also been linked with Southampton’s Artur Boruc and Torino’s Jean-Francois Gillet, but Amelia is now suggested as another possibility up for consideration.
