Tuttosport report that Milan have had a new offer for Alessio Cerci, reported to be €12m, rejected by Torino.

The Rossoneri have been heavily linked with the forward in recent weeks and it is said that San Siro CEO Adriano Galliani met with Granata President Urbano Cairo yesterday for talks over the player.

At that point, it is stated that the Milan official raised his club’s initial bid of €10m by a further €2m.

Though Cairo considered the offer, he is believed to have declined it, perhaps in the hope that it will encourage Milan’s rival suitors Atletico Madrid to make an improved bid themselves.

In the meantime, further talks between Cairo and Galliani are scheduled for the next few days, though it seems inevitable that the Diavolo will have to raise their offer once again if they wish to land their target.
