Chelsea have announced that Marko Marin has joined Fiorentina on a season-long loan deal.
The 25-year-old joined the Blues in 2012 but has made just 16 appearances for the Premier League club, scoring one goal.
He spent last season on loan at Spanish club Sevilla, where he helped the Andalusians win the Europa League.
However, he once again found himself out of favour on his return to his parent club and has now been loaned out for a second time.
“The Serbia-born German international will link up with the Italian side ahead of the Serie A season, which begins with an away game against Ashley Cole’s Roma on 30 August,” a statement on Chelsea’s website reads.
“We wish Marko well for the season ahead.”
