Athletic Bilbao striker Iker Muniain admits “Napoli aren’t the team we wanted to play” in the Champions League.
The first leg of the play-off is on Tuesday at the Stadio San Paolo and only one of these teams will go through to the group phase.
“This is going to be a very balanced encounter, as our opponents have many talented players and if we have to raise our game, then we will,” Muniain told reporters.
“It is a big advantage to play the second leg at home, as everything could be decided at the San Mames.
“Napoli are not the team we wanted to play, but we will try to beat them. We’ll take all necessary precautions, but won’t change our style of football.”
