The 25-year-old arrived in Florence this morning and was pictured by Fiorentina at Careggi hospital undergoing medical tests ahead of completing the deal.
The player arrived and completed the check-ups without making statement and is expected to then move on to club headquarters to put pen to paper on a contract to finalise the deal.
Marin, who was with Sevilla last season, will reportedly have a majority of his wage for the coming season funded by Chelsea.
