Inter captain Andrea Ranocchia warned not to underestimate Europa League play-off opponents Stjarnan.

The Nerazzurri will travel to Iceland on August 21 and play the second leg at San Siro on August 28.

“I have never been to Iceland, so this will be my first time there,” Ranocchia told Inter Channel.

“We absolutely must not underestimate our opponents, as we’ll be playing in an unusual atmosphere.

“Now we have two tough friendly tests and then the first official match. We really want to do well.”

Ranocchia also discussed the novelty for this season, as there is a wall on the way to the locker room with ‘I Love Inter’ painted on it, which all the players have to sign.
“I think this is the basis to get back to being great again. It sums up what football and life is all about. We players have decided to put our names to help build something important.”
