The Rossoneri endured a difficult start to pre-season under their new boss but registered a victory in their most recent friendly, beating Chivas 3-0.
“We are quite happy, in the first matches you can’t look at the results,” Inzaghi told a Press conference. “With the passing of days we have trained better and I am happy now.
“We have seen some growth and I am pleased because a lot of the boys are already running a lot. It’s important too that we don’t have many injuries.
“I have seen great commitment from everyone, the boys are behind me and you can see it in their eyes.”
With further pre-season outings to come, Inzaghi added that the Rossoneri now have the ideal opportunity to ensure they are ready for their Serie A opener against Lazio.
“We need to get to the first day of the season at 100 per cent. We need to understand that the team has to improve.
“But with this spirit and matches against Valencia and the TIM Trophy, we will have the chance to go into the Lazio game in the best shape.”
