However, L’Equipe quickly denied those suggestions yesterday afternoon, claiming that the club would keep faith with the man that led them to the title last season.
The former Manchester United defender though, has joked that he has his bags packed at all times.
“In this job, it is impossible to be certain about anything,” he told reporters.
“You do not have time to unpack your suitcase. To be safe, I keep mine in the garage ready at all times!”
