SuperMario’s future remains in the balance after a poor World Cup campaign and off the field antics, including posting a picture of himself on Twitter pointing a gun at ‘haters.’
According to Caught Offside and The Mirror, Arsenal are renewing their attempts to sign Balotelli.
The figures quoted are £15.8m (€20m) plus wages worth £160,000 per week (around €10m per season).
However, today the Corriere dello Sport maintains Milan should give the captain’s armband to Balotelli.
Current captain Riccardo Montolivo is out until October with a fractured leg, so the gesture from new Coach Pippo Inzaghi would put more responsibility on the 24-year-old’s shoulders.
Balotelli has always confessed to being a Milan supporter, even when he was playing for their arch rivals Inter.
