Torino will play either IF Brommapojkarna of Sweden or Crusaders FC from Northern Ireland in the Third qualifying round of the Europa League.

The Granata are Italy’s first entrants into this season’s European competition, having taken Parma’s place in the Europa League qualifying rounds following the Gialloblu’s failure to obtain a UEFA Licence.

Today UEFA have held the draw for the Third qualifying round and paired Toro with the winners of the Second qualifying round clash between IF Brommapojkarna and Crusaders FC.

In all likelihood Torino, who are in European competition for the first time in 20 years, will face the Swedes, as they lead their Northern Irish counterparts 4-0 from the first leg of their tie.

Giampiero Ventura’s side will play the first leg of their match with the Second round victors at home on July 31, before the return leg is played on August 7.

Winners from the Third qualifying round will then progress to the Play-off round, where among the seeded teams are Inter, Tottenham and Villarreal.

Advancement from the Play-off round will see clubs enter the Group stage of the 2014-15 edition of the Europa League. Fiorentina are qualified for this stage thanks to last season’s fourth place finish in Serie A.
