Gonzalo Rodriguez was experimented for some of the game in a deep-lying midfield playmaker role, though Coach Vincenzo Montella insisted it was “just an extra option to have at our disposal.”
Rodriguez scored along with Gomez, Maxwell Acosty, an Andrea Lazzari brace and Joaquin.
