Argentina and Sampdoria goalkeeper Sergio Romero is taking inspiration from past World Cup winners.
This is the Albiceleste’s first Final since 1990 and against Germany on Sunday they hope to grab their third trophy.
“The most important thing is that our team and our country provide the best image in the eyes of the world, that the world will speak well of Argentina,” the goalkeeper told FIFA.
“We will remember what the champions of 1978 and 1986 achieved but by we will also try to achieve glory by the fight and heart of this team.”
Romero was the hero in the semi-final, saving two penalties in the shoot-out against the Netherlands.
