Maxi Rodriguez warns Argentina are “out for revenge” against Germany in tomorrow’s World Cup Final.

It kicks off on Sunday at 21.00 UK time (20.00 GMT) at the legendary Maracana in Rio de Janeiro.

“In the last two editions of the World Cup, Germany have knocked us out, so I have to admit we are out for revenge,” Rodriguez told FIFA.

“However, as this is a Final, it is the most important game of all and goes beyond what happened in the past.

“Clearly we want to win because this is too important an opportunity to let go and it’s our duty to grab it.”

This is the first time Argentina have been in a World Cup Final since 1990 – when they lost to West Germany.
